Looking for the perfect way to spend a summer weekend in the city? Come stroll through the beautiful gardens and shaded paths of Loring Park during the Loring Park Art Festival, happening July 26–27, 2025. Right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, this festival brings together over 140 fine artists from across the region, showcasing original paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and more.

As you wander through the park, you'll discover art that inspires, live music filling the air, and hands-on activities where visitors of all ages can unleash their creativity. Whether you're an avid art collector or simply looking for a fun afternoon, there’s something for everyone.

And of course, no summer festival is complete without great food. Local food trucks and vendors will be serving up everything from fresh summer salads and vegan delights to BBQ favorites and sweet treats. Whether you're craving an iced coffee or a refreshing lemonade, you'll find plenty of options to enjoy as you relax in the park.

Getting here is easy. Parking is available nearby at ramps like the MCTC Ramp and Laurel Village Ramp, and there are metered street spots around the park. If you prefer, hop on a Metro Transit bus, ride your bike, or take a walk through downtown to soak in the city views on your way.
